Grampound Carnival will take place on Saturday 3 September 2022
In the months before the carnival, the committee is putting on fund-raising events
Please try to attend one or more of these events - we need the funds in order to be able to provide the best possible entertainment on carnival day itself
Coffee mornings are held on the last Saturday of each month in the village hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dates: Saturday 28 May, 25 June, 30 July, 27 August
Cakes, tea and coffee will be available, all proceeds go to carnival funds. Plus a 50/50 raffle.
Come along with your friends, or come on your own and join other village residents and catch up on what is happening with the carnival and other goings-on in the village.
Friday 15 July, village hall
Come along and place your bets on the races - videos shown of actual races and you have to use your judgement (or clairvoyant powers!) to pick the winners.
Pasties on sale at the event. Bring your own drinks.
Come along as a group, or join another table and have fun!
We will be looking in advance of the night for people to sponsor horses and whole races. For just £4, you can sponsor a horse and give it a name. If you horse wins the particular race, you will win a prize of £16. We will be going around the village looking for sponsors, or you can contact us via the form on this website and express your interest in sponsoring a horse or a race.
